KSA Technical Congress - 2 March 2017 - Important Notice

Please note that the next KSA Technical Congress will be held on 2 March 2017 at the Tropicana Hotel in Durban from 2 - 5pm.

All technical officials viz, Coaches/Referees/Table Officials/Technical Convenors/Provincial Chairpersons/Medical Personel of the nine provinces of KSA are most welcome to attend.

Breaking News!! Karate Now in the Youth Olympic Games 2018

"Awesome achievement indeed by the WKF. Karate now in the Youth Olympic Games 2018, moreover more opportunities for our karateka youth!" says a jubilant President of KSA, Sonny Pillay Hanshi.

It is my pleasure to announce you that the IOC Executive Board has agreed to include Karate in the Youth Olympic Games 2018, which will be held in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
This is a new milestone to be added to the already decisive decision of including our sport in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

KSA Eastern Cape Karate Assoc. Looking Ahead

We are proud to announce once and for all, the unification of karate in the Eastern Cape under the auspices of Karate South Africa, the official karate body affiliated to SASCOC.

We are encouraging all karate practitioners and instructors in the Eastern Cape to take note that Karate South Africa will be hosting the Commonwealth Karate Championships in Durban during 2017 and also will be the only body to get access to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games for all karateka.

KSA Receives Endorsement from WKF at World Cup Congress 2016 in Linz

President of National Karate Federation KSA, Sonny Pillay Hanshi, received an overwhelming endorsement at the WKF World Congress from both the All Africa Karate Federation (UFAK) and the WKF current world governing body for karate. Moreover it was categorically stated by the WKF president, Antonio Espinos, that KSA are currently the official custodians of karate in South Africa by virtue of its official recognition by the WKF an affiliate of the IOC
