Karate South Africa firmly believes “KARATE IS AN OLYMPIC SPORT (Tokyo 2020) AND THEREFORE MUST BE INCLUDED IN THE 2024 PARIS OLYMPICS!!!

The bizarre decision to exclude Karate from the 2024 Paris Olympics by the powers that be needs to be revisited!

We, the karate leaders of the world, cannot afford the OLYMPIC karate dreams of millions of today’s Youth to be shattered!

We, KSA, will not sit back and take no for an answer. WKF be rest assured your fight for justice is our fight !!!

KSA Reaching Out

 

The program that is expected to be held annually during the ARNOLD CLASSIS KSA INVITATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS WEEK END was graced by the presence of WKF Karate Legend, Tokey Hill, who conducted the free development self defence workshop.

He was assisted by a dynamic KSA team comprising of KSA top ranked fighter Morgan Moss, Protea fighter Jabulo Khumalo, a former Shotokan world champ, Wiben Mbada, development officer KSA Nico Banyane, head coach KSA Madam Anita Pillay, Michael Roetz and veteran karate master, Lucas Tau.

President of KSA Sonny Pillay, who delivered the keynote address at the Outreach program held at the Sandton convention centre said “The youth seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed the karate workshop and showed huge enthusiasm to learn more, moreover the KSA organisation will continue to reach out to the less fortunate through various projects such as the one just concluded at the Arnold Classic Sports Festival 2018.“

WKF former world champion, Tokey Hill, the current director of coaching USA karate was overly impressed with the talent exhibited by youth who participated in the said program “I am truly amazed at the talent that exists amongst these children who are from previously underprivileged and disadvantaged communities this certainly augurs well for the future of KSA/WKF brand of karate in South Africa “I HOPE TO BE HERE IN 2019 TO CONTINUE MY WORK WITH THESE WONDERFUL KARATE KIDS" concluded the karate Maestro, Tokey
