Karate in the Olympics!! Olympics

TEAM KSA CONQUERS AFRICA with record breaking performance

Team KSA won a record 15 medals at the recent ALL AFRICA CHAMPIONSHIPS 2017 in Cameroon

Amidst the 15 medal haul were THREE All AFRICA "UFAK" CHAMPIONS (gold medallists)

Sadly KZN'S Protea Osman Ghoor didn't seem to impress the referees and had to settle for a Silver medal or KSA could have earned 4 gold medals.

Highlight of the tour was the gold medals won by Morgan Moss, Tania du Boyd and William Ash who demolished all opposition to be crowned Africa Champions in their right.

The team management comprising of Albert Marias ably assisted by Adele, head coaches Brando Pillay and Nico Banyane who were kept on their toes throughout did an outstanding job

"We could have had a few more gold medals but the referees didn't think so!" exclaimed Nico and Brando
"Michael du Plessis was superb in his execution of kata and should have been crowned All Africa champion" said head of delegation Sonny Pillay Hanshi the President of KSA who sat at "ringside."

THIS RECORD BREAKING PERFORMANCE BY TEAM KSA AT THE UFAK CHAMPIONSHIPS IN CAMEROON AUGURS WELL FOR THE OLYMPICS AHEAD BOTH IN 2018 (ARGENTINA) and
2020 (TOKYO).

Both the President and Vice President attended the UFAK ALL Africa congress during which the entire current cabinet was re-elected.

It was also intimated that the next UFAK championships will be held in Rwanda.
